
The Story of Doon's Salsa
I have always loved salsa! I started making salsa in 1988. I would have parties and homemade salsa was always the crave! As time went on, I discovered different variations. I was running across fire roasted or campfire style. Although I found some that I enjoyed, I felt they were still missing the smokiness that I desired. I started experimenting with this. What I have come up with is what I feel is a true, real fire roasted salsa. Every tomato, serrano, habanero, and fresh garlic is roasted. This has become my passion and I hope it becomes one of the jars on your shelf!
